Onboarding with Social Good - Social Good Software - Increase Ticket Sales & Memberships with Altru

What implementation looks like

Onboarding at the pace you choose.

Social Good is built to enhance the Altru you already run. We can have you live in as little as four weeks, the fastest path to value, and we go at your pace of adoption. This page shows how our team works, so nothing about implementation comes as a surprise.

Our promise

We are your partner in getting more from Altru.

Our job is to enhance the Altru experience you already have, and to keep improving it alongside your team. We are Altru enhancement experts, and being that partner is the whole reason Social Good exists.

Every partnership has a learning curve, and we plan for it. Real change comes with a few bumps early on. That is normal. You are trading a familiar habit for a better one. We stay with you through it, and the other side runs much smoother than before. We are not done until you are there. Adoption moves at your pace, not ours. There is no wrong pace here. When you are ready, we can be live in as little as four weeks. That is the fastest path to value, and we are glad to move quicker whenever you want.

Setting expectations

Three factors set your timeline, and all three are yours to shape.

Our part is straightforward. What sets the real pace is your organization: how ready your people are, how your approvals work, and how your calendars line up. Here is the honest version of each, because seeing it up front is what keeps the whole process smooth. We call them the three A’s.

The first A

Adoption

Adoption is about the people who will use Social Good, not the technical setup. A little early friction is normal as a team trades a familiar habit for a faster one, and two things tend to shape how quickly that happens.

Buy-in depends on the size of your team

In a smaller organization, the people who will use Social Good were usually in the demos already. Buy-in is done before we begin.

In a larger organization, your leaders may have approved Social Good while the teams who will actually use it have never heard of us. When those teams seem to drag their feet, it is almost never resistance. They simply were not part of the conversation and do not yet know what Social Good does for them.

Smaller team

Everyone was in the room. There is little for us to do here, and we move straight ahead.

Larger organization

We help you introduce Social Good to the people downstream, so they start from understanding instead of surprise.

You decide how closely to watch

Some teams are glad for us to connect everything and show them the finished result. Others want to understand how every button works before they sign off. Both are completely welcome. The only difference is time: the more you want to see and learn as we go, the longer implementation takes, and that trade is entirely your call. Move the dial to see how it shapes the timeline.

Approval

Turning anything on is always your decision. We never flip a switch without your approval. Because that authority sits with you, the way your organization approves shapes the pace.

Who signs off

When one person can approve our work, we move quickly. Many of the organizations we serve value getting everyone on board, so approval can grow from a single email to a full room of reviewers. That instinct to build consensus is a strength; it just adds time, and we plan for it. Sometimes the group changes between calls and new people need to get up to speed, which is completely normal. When it happens, we simply re-walk what matters so no one is left behind.

How much you approve

You can approve based on trust in our methods, signing off on the results while we handle the how. Or you can approve each step along the way, reviewing the details before we move on. More checkpoints mean a more thorough, more deliberate implementation. Fewer mean a faster one. Both get you to the same place.

Approve the outcomeApprove each step

Approval is not the same as oversight

Oversight is about watching. Approval is about permission. A team can watch closely and still trust us to proceed, and another can watch very little but require a sign-off at every gate. We keep the two separate, so you can choose each one on its own terms.

Availability

Once your people are on board and your approvals are clear, the calendar sets the rhythm. Availability is simply about when we can meet.

Cultural organizations are busy and seasonal. Galas, big events, and staff time off all pull focus, and a decision-maker’s vacation can pause approvals for a stretch. All of that is expected. We start with a kickoff call and book a weekly rhythm right away, so momentum holds and both sides know what happens between each one. Most rollouts run about six calls: we launch feature by feature in priority order, then follow up until everything is live and tested. One call a week tends to feel steady without feeling rushed. And when something comes up and the schedule slips, we pick right back up where we left off, whenever you are ready.

Onboarding Call

Kickoff and plan

Meet your point of contact, map your goals, and rank your features by priority. We set your go-live target together.

Week 1

Connect and configure

We connect to your existing Altru and set up the products you use, starting with your top priority. Nothing leaves Altru.

Week 2

Brand and demo

We style your checkout, member portal, and digital cards to look like you, then demo each feature so you see exactly how it works.

Week 3

Approve and launch

You approve what is ready, and we launch feature by feature in priority order, so value starts before everything is finished.

Week 4

Test and reconcile

We walk the full guest flow, place test transactions, and confirm every launch reconciles cleanly in Altru.

Ongoing support

Follow-up and sign-off

We launch any remaining features, retest together, and you give final sign-off. From here, we keep improving alongside your team.

Scheduling is easy with one person and takes more coordination when several people need to be on each call. If a call is missed or the gaps stretch out, the timeline stretches with it. That is completely okay. The rhythm is yours to set, and we match it.

The part people worry about most

What if the software does not do exactly what we need?

Social Good handles the vast majority of what cultural organizations need right out of the box. Every so often, an organization has built its own way of working around something the underlying system was never designed to do. When that comes up, it is never a dealbreaker.

We find a way, every time. We adapt the setup, connect the missing pieces, or build a new feature so it fits how you actually work. Solving those edge cases is not the exception to what we do; it is the reason Social Good exists. You are not buying software and hoping it fits. You are gaining a partner whose job is to make it fit, backed by a 90-day, risk-free start.

And when you want something truly your own, we can build it. The vast majority of enhancements are simply part of the partnership, included at no extra cost, so this rarely comes up. But if you have a bigger idea, a custom project that goes beyond the standard scope, we are glad to take it on and build it with you, scoped and priced together up front.
