Does this replace or change our Blackbaud relationship?
No. Social Good is an approved Blackbaud Technology Partner that works on top of Altru, it doesn’t replace it. Your Altru account, data, and Blackbaud relationship stay exactly the same, we simply give your guests a better experience on the front end.
Is our data secure?
Yes. Payments still process directly through BBMS (Blackbaud Merchant Services), so card data never touches our systems. Everything else, guest, member, and donor data, runs on Amazon Web Services infrastructure that maintains PCI DSS Level 1, ISO 27001, SOC 1 and SOC 2, FISMA Moderate, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, the same standards used by banks and enterprise software. What does it cost?
There’s no software fee to get started. Social Good is transaction-based, and it’s your choice how processing fees are handled: pass them on to the guest or donor, or have your organization absorb them instead, so you stay in control of both the budget and the giving experience.
How long does implementation take?
Most organizations are live in days, not months. Setup means connecting your existing Altru credentials, no data migration, no lengthy development project, and no downtime for your team.
Do we have to migrate our data?
No. Your data stays in Altru exactly where it is today. Social Good reads and writes to Altru in real time, so there’s nothing to export, import, or reconcile.
Can we cancel if it’s not a fit?
Yes. Every organization gets a 90-day, risk-free trial. If it’s not the right fit during that window, we can cancel the agreement with no hassle. After the 90 days, we offer a specific term based on your needs with the option to renew yearly.
