How to exclude selected events from a calendar
It is now possible to exclude selected events from specific dates on your calendar. In this example, you will see the removal of any activities set on December 31st, January 2nd, and January 9th. Take note that any date you want to exclude from any activity is possible using the Calendar Builder.
Steps to exclude selected events from a calendar
- Go to your Social Good Software account and proceed to Calendar Builder.
- Select the calendar that you want to adjust.
- Click Settings.
- Under Events, click the query that you want to apply changes to.
- It will redirect you to the query in your Altru account. Drag the start date from the Results field to display to Include records where.
- For the start date criteria, you can exclude the date by selecting or inputting the dates. The criteria should be “date is not one of”.
- In this example, we will exclude the following dates: January 9, 2023, January 2, 2023, and December 31, 2022. Click Ok and save your query.
- Go back to your calendar in the Calendar Builder. Proceed to SYNC ACTIVITY and click REQUEST DATA to update your calendar.
Once the syncing process is complete, check your calendar by going to the Preview tab. The result should show that the events were removed from the specific date, which in this example are events set on the 31st of December 2022, January 2nd, and 9th, 2023.
